so just think about that. no, im not gonna address your concerns or discuss the meta informational aspects of being a reviewer deejay selector blogger musician. what do you think this is, some kind of reading material designed for people to draw on while they are snarfing down a happy meal?  do you think skeletor is supposed to be a clown or something?  no.  some caustic substance chewed his face away and he wears a friggin hood and a cape. he is pissed off at he-man for being such a sellout, for being the cheesy hero that appeals to the heteronormal committee that decides what programming is appropriate for children of the distant past.  if you found this informationally dense content by chance then you're looking for something out of the ordinary.  yes i showed up to the career information session. what do you think about Lose You VIP, 753 miles away original mix, Moonbootica Break of Light, Here For You Original Extended Mix, Round Two - New Day (club vocal mix),Nightwalker, Mango Drive?  What about Tighten Up - The Black Keys in The Expanse?  How does this relate to Outland 1981, Leviathan 1989, Jaws, Innerspace the game not the movie, Jurassic Park, Lost In Space (newer), and Beta Band - Wonderful, The Velvet Underground - Ocean, and Apples In Stereo - Innerspace, Intervales Theme - Javelin?  For bonus extra credit points, which indie game came out lately with a sample of Divina? 4691.  Check out Ces Cru - Smoke.  Check out this song: Life of Fortune & Fame - Doctor L, aka something Amon Tobin sampled.  LoopTroop - Rather Be Broke.  Morly Grey - Sleepy Softness.  Barry Brown - We Need Love.  Jackie Mittoo - Super Charge.  Barry Brown - I Am Not a King.  Barry Brown - Things In Life. <six out of five<.  Jackie Mittoo - Atom Sounds. atom text editor is lame because of the context menu additions.  open source software is stupid and the python community is 78.32% scrubs per capita but 88.3% scrubs by weight. it took me about an hour to fix some broken tutorial code and actually make a functional file manager, and it would probably take me ten hours to look in the python package index to verify that nobody else decided to make a file manager and put it in the package index.  so, I am officially a champion of computing for making this puredata patch for qwerty kb to midi with note-offs and for making a file manager in python.  it's been years. you'd think these other losers that were asking around at friggin pancake waffle stack house for a filing cabinet that supports international hair dressing and which is capable of mending darning socks and quilting knitwear into stupid recycled sweaters for mens leggings "blisters on me fingahs!" "a toot and a snort" "and shut the door" would have managed to create some foundart from their junkyard of car sculptures.  materials: myself, electrons, you. title: [ supreme text poetry champion wins a hundred dollars thanks to one particular canadian and finally tells the truth about cow clicker. the game is totally stupid and the guy is totally overrated. if you think "reverse guitar hero, a performative instrument for the Atari 2600" isn't a demake or a game, well, you are by definition, stupid. ]  my next performance art essay piece is called : [ in the long lasting war of attrition between ">egotistical people with superior credentials and better ignorance of their own stupidity, as well as different people who occupy " and/versus ">sleeper hit totally classic historical individuals who were unappreciated in their own time among the sheep like pedestrians who operated landbound vessels but were not capable of conceiving of moving about in the air or in the sea" nobody wins unless things are made fair and perhaps retroactively compensated for capitally in a truly meritorious way wherein people are made whole for their past suffering and economic despair instead of merely being judged and overlooked by those that have no eyes to see the truth.  following up this amazing construction with another long sentence. the next sentence being precisely: sure it's nice that you're famous and play to large crowds steve aoki/borgore/skrillex/whoever else and im happy for your success in a way where i understand that i would be happy for myself if i were you... but i think that you should realize that other musicians exist too and they think you are overrated. perhaps you deserve respect as a fellow musician but you still suck and are ruining reality by not truly showing people good music. the congos - fisherman (rhythm & sound edit and mixdown)\01-max romeo - give praises.mp3 . this next thing I have to say is also controversial and difficult to accept but it's that royksopp's star wars song Bounty Hunters is awful and they are washed up and have jumped the shark.  it looks like they have only released two music videos since 2014 and they're both bad.  and this is coming from someone who really likes Senior too... playing to a huge crowd of americans is not the same as playing to a huge crowd of europeans.  we can try our best to pretend that the american patrons that show up in large numbers to popular electronic music acts are like cool european ravers but they aren't.  i mean i would definitely party with these people but when you're fist bumpin to underwhelming music in a video that looks cool but has bad music from a band that should rightfully be killin it, you know there's something wrong.  commenters will show up in droves to express their hypeness about some random track as long as it has tens of thousands of people hearing it, but nobody shares or better yet, effectively raises up those rare grooves that are overlooked because of no advertising.  and how do musicians really feel?  should they be their own street team? it's different being in a band.  but as a solo musician who doesn't use plagiaristic sampling (not that it's bad just look at hip hop), how do you feel when random crappy vaporwave  (which is just some dude dj'ing some 80's tracks and releasing it as music with random kanji containing artist name) has at least a half million views because it is marketed as vaporwave and you don't even know what genre to classify yourself as? when people listen to these plagiarized sounds and think, wow, i want to make music that sounds like that, and think that these guys made these sounds...  what do people really think about your music, you start to wonder?  do most people understand the origin of the sounds they're hearing? do they suspect that your music isn't yours because it's so good? or do they compare it to other music?  do other musicians see your music in the same forums where they post their music and think you suck? do other music listeners hear your music and think, dang, i found some rare grooves.  well for me, it is the latter.  hahahahaahaha!  independent music exists in an interesting state nowadays because a lot of music is released online but not made available for download on soundcloud.  music which was released earlier existed primarily on CD and Vinyl, just as many games were released in the past and existed as commercial products.  we see a phenomenon where commercial music and commercial games are more comprehensively included in databases whereas independent noncommercial music and games basically don't exist at that same level of visibility.  but what i wonder is whether the music that is around now will be looked back on in a decade the same way we were able to look back at music in the 90's during the 00's.  i worry about the trend of streaming music because the history and playlisting features are insufficient, and i worry because people obviously stream music on soundcloud and don't save it for later.  they aren't deliberately not hearting tracks, and saving the links for later, no, they just aren't going to remember period.  maybe they're following the artist and there's no need to heart the track.  either way, if that track goes off soundcloud there's no solid record that it existed at all, or of when it was first released.  IF FOLKS had a music player that ate up soundcloud urls and played them, this would still be unreliable compared to local files.  And how do we know that remote files are going to stay the same or exist in the future?  What if some jerk gets into the servers and messes up all the files?  How are we going to deal with and recover from the failure of a centralized resource?  CDs don't change.  Cartridges don't change.  Dvds don't change.  Servers are inherently writable and modifiable.  I don't know for a fact that they have backups, that they are checking the files' hashes to ensure they aren't being changed.  And yo, isn't anybody concerned that using mobile data is increasing their exposure to emf radiation? MASTA ACE - Don't Understand.  mp3s drop frequencies, that's part of the way mp3 works.   let's face it, lots of people are out there that use way more bandwidth for animated gifs than for music.  you might think it's stupid for me to write this, like, wow, maybe i look stupid or something, but no, writing almost always makes you look stupid.  if i want to write in a devolving stream of consciousness as i grow more and more weary of writing, as my eyelids literally become heavier, while i become older and closer to my eventual demise, then yeah, i'm going to publish it. why not?  y'all already can hear my music.  it's not like i'm venetian snares or merzbow.  at least im a real musician.  y'all already know apocalypse whenever is a dope track because you can look at how other groups reference it.  y'all already know yunowadidis is dope because you've been in the world, the real world, where people exist who like the oldschool electronica i try to keep alive.  i'm just another Album Artist that people might one day connect over. like, "whoa, you like the Pixies?".... "whoa, you like Yunowadidis! groovy dude." or even better, "wow yunowadidis liked my track", or "whoa i cant believe you knew about yunowadidis back in 2013 i just heard about yuno in this year the year of our lord 2023"  so say what you want, like music is for degenerates and profanity reflects badly on your professionalism.  i live in the real world and i listen to music, mothertrucker!
